Becoming a Preceptor ... of Sahaj Marg(tm)

What are the chances that your candidacy will be successful?

To become a preceptor today, you need to apply and receive the recommendation of your center-in-charge (CIC) and the area-in-charge ( ZIC ).

Certainly, you must have read the classics of Sahaj Marg (The Complete works of Ram Chandra, My Master, etc. ), if possible, several times over.  You must have participated in the celebrations and the bhandaras (birthday parties)  organized by the Mission, visited the Manapakkam ashram and volunteered to serve the mission.  It is also good that the members of your family be good abhyasis.

But your language and computer skills must be up to speed, and it is better for you to have a good internet connection and know how to send out e-mails.

Your CIC and ZIC will certainly have to confirm that you practice regularly and that you know the Master, the Mission and the Method (3M's).

But they will mainly assess your ability to express yourself well, especially when faced with a non-abhyasi public.  They will indicate how many new followers you have ensnared and convinced. They will also evaluate your performance in terms of organization and volunteer work.  In short, they need to assess your energy and dynamism in recruiting new followers.

Make no mistake, the candidacy application form resembles that of a Sales Representative, whose sole function is to solicit potential customers . The current preceptor's job is prospecting for new recruits. The compensation is Chari's "eternal gratitude" towards you.

What must one not to do to approach the Master and hope for his gratitude?

The main sales tactic in selling ideas, beliefs which require faith and obedience, is to use photographs and videos of crowds listening to speakers in the magazines ... the more "influential" or known the target, the better.   "Success = Numbers".   Preceptors are chosen by their "star status" (no cave-dwelling hermits here)  and their ability to motivate individuals and crowds, much like RELIGIONS do.   If their crowds are not numerous enough, then the preceptors are expected to organize "get togethers" in other towns and to get and show "numbers" in the magazines, specially of the children ...  Yes, like Religions and Cults of Personality, and spiritualist groups like Sahaj Marg(tm) they all try to grow by indoctrinating the children before they reach the age of reason, and opportunistically from birth, as the preceptors attempt to inter-marry the disciples to one another.  The youth are certainly targeted before the age of 18 yrs old, counter to the  recommendation of their Founder, Babuji ...

The "get-togethers", the bandharas (birthday parties) and the congresses in other towns and countries are places to sell the new books, videos, iconography, and to "match" the disciples ... (the buddy method as used by religions everywhere to keep the flock "connected"... or create a favourable egregore as ordered by Chari: See here)

Your photograph is being taken at all "events",  and your image is being used to sell a spiritualist product!! (Anonymous Medium, egregore, "cult of a Person", New Religion, etc...) for a privately controlled, undemocratic "society".

... With your permission I'm sure!!

P.S.  And you, the membership, don't control the society ... All the wealth (money and the property) is in a private foundation (SMSF)  and controlled by a few of the "elite" (large donors and businessmen)  ... Sahaj Marg and SRCM(California-1997)  is a "dictatorship" for LIFE!!  It is set up that way!!
